The KIATRA ESTATE wines showcase the results of our farming and winemaking approach in harmony with the unique cooler climate of our southern Napa Valley vineyard. We make a very small production of this wine to be the best representation of our estate in each vintage.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2021 vintage of our KIATRA ESTATE comprises of two clones of Cabernet Sauvignon selected from three blocks, harvested over three nights during September 2021. Each late night harvest was designed to maximize phenolic ripeness and clonal diversity within our vineyard.
The winemaking team built on the foundation of the fruit using 80% new French Oak Barrels to create a balanced, yet complex wine with balance between the acidity, tannins and the cooler southern Napa cabernet fruit. Texture and tension are the hallmarks of this wine and 2021 is a perfect vintage to showcase these attributes.
This wine drinks beautifully now especially with decanting and will continue to improve over the next twelve years and gracefully age for another two decades.

How to Acquire
Due to the limited quantities available we offered this wine on an allocation basis. Our allocation membership is now closed and we have a waiting list.
Seasonally we offer a small release of our wine for new customers on our mailing list.
