While what’s in the bottle is our primary focus we like to push the boundaries on packaging and tell the neotempo story in new and engaging ways. We are excited to release new smart labels which we have been working on for the last 18 months. These labels unlock a world of capabilities including anti-fraud capabilities and a set of digital media like music, video and recipes that augment our wine experience. Stay tuned. Our fall release will include these labels on all the bottles.

Neotempo is the alchemy of nature, art and science. Nature is a prolific artist. She spreads beauty with colors and textures. Our label is inspired by the heritage oaks on our property, our wine making process and the art of the blending is directed by the maestro Tony Biagi and his assistant Adrien Halpin. We are grateful for their precision wine making and crafting a beautiful wine for our 2022 vintage. The wine is balanced, yet complex and textured.
No heavy fruit or tannins here.

A big part of Neotempo is to make terroir driven wines that capture the unique fingerprint of a growing season in each and every vintage.
Nature is the single biggest component of our 2022 Kiatra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and provided us with a great vintage in a uniquely challenging season.
We are so excited with this vintage that featured triumph over adversity. Stay tuned….

Next Friday we will open our Fall release. We are very excited about these wines. They are among the best wines we have ever made and capture the vintages of 2021 and 2022 at our site. As always they embrace our precision farming and winemaking with new innovations on packaging and customer experience.
Over the next few days we will be sharing some of these new innovations and the tasting notes for these wines.

Yesterday we were informed that our Neotempo Kiatr

Yesterday we were informed that our Neotempo Kiatra Estate label won the annual 2024 @communicationarts annual award for packaging with over 2000 entries.
We thank the international panel of judges for selecting our label design.
The Neotempo Kiatra Estate label is the brilliant work designed by Dave and Joleen @level_calistoga_ca who integrated the three elements of Neotempo nature, art, science into an elegant, understated, timeless label which compliments our patent pending hex bottle.
The label features our heritage oaks which first drew us to the site and provides our vinyard a unique identity.
The embossing provides hints of texture and what we like to achieve in all our wines.
The white cotton paper signifies purity which best captures our estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon from this vineyard.
When we started NEOTEMPO we wanted to create a timeless wine that pushed boundaries and intrigued the senses from soil to glass…
While our highest priority is to make the best wine we can from our vineyard in a given vintage, with this award we are now awarded for the wine, the bottle design and now the label design, a rare feat for any inaugural vintage.
Big bravo to @level_calistoga_ca for the label design, Forman motor company for printing the labels, wine specialty services to applying the labels on our bottles by hand.
