Sensoria Intrigue event labels on wine bottles

Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in our Kiatra vineyard, SENSORIA INTRIGUE is rich in personality and character while displaying texture and distinctive aroma and flavors that perfectly captures our vineyard’s cooler location of Napa and the much celebrated 2021 vintage. The wine shows elements of both the old world and new world showing an elegant mid-palate. The dark color, vivid energy and rich hedonistic flavors inspired us to create a different visual identity. We partnered with Brian Griffin to use twelve special photographs from his archives for our 2021 Sensoria Intrigue collection.

Our intent with NEOTEMPO SENSORIA is to craft a wine that can be the center of multi-sensory experiences highlighting the alchemy of nature, art, and science to feed the senses, the mind, and the soul. Whether it’s wine and food pairings, music and wine pairing, or art shows.

Fascination from within. The mind wanders to a place of the familiar; wild black raspberries and pomegranate begin the ascent. Yet more lies beneath the surface, baiting the curious soul to dive deeper. A provocative landscape of crisp minerals, exotic sage and bay leaf coax with a cheshire smile. Sip.  Contrasting elements intertwined creating a unique and inviting framework of liquid rune. Get the balance right. Everything counts in the juxtaposition of darkness with shimmering crystals of light, as one cannot exist without the other. Crimson acidity reminiscent of summer plums hold court among its counterparts, conjuring energy and life from its place of origin. The sun and the rainfall make indelible imprints for us to relive again and again, lingering in conscious thought and memory.  A scintillating tapestry, capturing raw emotion in its purest form. Let’s have a black celebration.
 
 
Serving Suggestion: This wine drinks beautifully now especially with 60 – 90 minutes of decanting and will continue to improve over the next twelve years and gracefully age for another two decades.

The inaugural iconic artist collaboration on SENSORIA is with famed British Photographer Brian Griffin and the first capsule is named INTRIGUE, something that is involved in so much of his work.

Brian worked with our team to design our labels for SENSORIA INTRIGUE using rare photographs from his archive complementing our patent-pending hex bottle design and a new round magnum format.

These images are from Brian’s book MODE, which documented his work for the band Depeche Mode from 1982-1986.
