PLACE AND TIME:

This is a single vineyard, Rose made entirely from Grenache grapes organically grown at Justi Vineyards in Sonoma.This warm site with its huge diurnal shifts and varied microclimates and soils, sits in the narrowest section of Sonoma Valley. The 2023 vintage was the vintage of this century with almost perfect growing conditions, ample rain in spring and slow ripening season gave us the ability to pick the grapes at an optimal date to maximize flavours.

WINE:

Our winemaking team used precision to best capture the essence of this rosé of Grenache. On the palate, the wine is elegant and bright.The wine has a unique fingerprint with stone fruit and elderflower aroma, mid-palate texture and freshness add to its attractiveness. It’s a wine that is complex like a red wine but can be enjoyed as a refreshing drink for easy food pairing. 

It’s the perfect daytime or sunset wine to savor year round from poolside parties in Napa or Miami to the beaches of Cape Town or Ibiza. 

ARTWORK:

Nick Walker is one of the world’s best known street artists. Born in 1969, he emerged from the infamous and ground-breaking Bristol graffiti scene of the early 1980s.As a forerunner of the British graffiti phenomenon, Nick’s work has become a blueprint for hundreds of emerging artists. His work is constantly evolving and remains innovative, modern and thought provoking. Nick draws on the energy and imagery of graffiti but he succeeds in combining the freedom the spray can brings, with very controlled and intricate stenciling. The results are highly sophisticated and infinitely desirable. The methods he uses retain their forcefulness and integrity on the traditional medium of canvas. During the 2020 lockdown period, we acquired an original Nick Walker piece named “Haunted Love” and SENSORIA LOVE is an adaptation of that painting so the label is dear to our hearts.  He was very enthusiastic about collaborating with us to make a special version of “Haunted Love” that beautifully adorns our unique hex bottle shape. We chose dark glass for our Rose because we believe the wine can be aged and wanted to provide additional UV Protection.
